Jefferson County seeks a goal-oriented, self-motivated, and efficient Director to manage and lead the Fair Park department and staff. This position oversees the Fair Park budget, the planning and execution of events to include the County Fair, as well as the operations of the facilities and grounds. This position will interact with stakeholders, sponsors, department heads, the County Administrator, and County Board Supervisors and will also be expected to resolve customers and citizen concerns. The Director will establish both short and long range plans to grow the Fair Park business by developing strategies and goals that align with the County’s Strategic Plan.
Salary Range: $72,765 - $93,509; commensurate with experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Recreation Facilities Management, or related field plus six years’ experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Experience with facility or trade shows including budgeting, facilities and grounds, maintenance, required.
Master’s degree plus six years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience highly preferred.
